Local Pro Kit
Privacy Policy

Preview store — these terms will be finalised before payments go live.
This page explains what Local Pro Kit, a service of Creativity Is Everywhere, LLC (“we”, “us”), collects when you order a website, why we need it, who else handles it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We collect what we need to build and run your website.
- Card details go to Stripe, not to us.
- Your answers and photos stay in your browser until we build your preview.
- We don’t sell your information. This store has no ads or analytics, and no cookies except a 10-minute sign-in cookie if you use the Google profile check.
- We never share phone numbers or text consent with anyone for their marketing.
- You can ask for a copy of all your data at any time, or ask us to fix or delete it.
What we collect
When you order
Your business name, your email address, and what you ordered: the package, the look, any extras and any monthly plan.
When you pay
You pay on Stripe’s own checkout page. Our pages have no card fields: your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers — we never see your full card number. Stripe tells us whether the payment went through.
Right now payments aren’t live. This preview store’s checkout only accepts a test card number, and card details are not stored.
When you tell us about your business
The answers you give after checkout. Many are optional:
- your trade, city and state (and, for salons, the street address and ZIP code)
- your business phone, business email, and a mobile number for texts if you want a “Text us” button
- the areas you work in, your hours, and your services and prices
- your licence number, who issued it, and whether you’re insured
- your name, your story, and your booking app link
Your starting numbers and check-ins
If you choose to, you give us rough starting numbers (calls and inquiries per week, new customers and missed calls per month, how many Google reviews you have), the goal you write down, and your answers to check-in questions. All of it is optional.
To show you your own before and after. They are never shown on your website, and we don’t share them with anyone. Only if you tick the box for it do we use them — anonymized — in our own marketing.
We may send you short check-in questions at about 1, 3 and 6 months — by email, or by text only if you agreed to texts. Answering is optional, and you can tell us to stop any time.
Photos
Your logo and photos of your work. They are made smaller on your phone or computer before they are saved.
When you ask for changes
What you write when you ask us to change your site — on your preview, in the editor, or by text.
If you add texting features
To register your texting number with US carriers (A2P 10DLC), we need your business’s legal name, your EIN if you have one, your address, and a contact person’s name, email and phone.
We also handle the texts sent to and from your business number: your customers’ phone numbers and messages, whether each customer agreed to texts (and the exact wording they saw), and who has opted out.
Messages from your website
When customers use the forms on your site, we receive what they send — such as their name, phone, email and what they need — so it can reach you. We handle this for you, on your behalf. Every site we build has its own privacy page that tells your customers this, with your business’s contact details.
Technical information
Our web host, Vercel, receives the basic technical information every browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, so it can deliver pages. This store uses no ads, and no cookies except the short sign-in cookie described under Google sign-in.
This store uses no analytics tools.
Why we use it
- To build your website and show you a preview.
- To take payment and send your receipt and preview link.
- To contact you about your order, your preview and your site.
- To run the extras and monthly plan you pay for — for example, texting back missed calls or making the changes you ask for.
- To register your texting number with carriers, and keep the records of consent and opt-outs that carriers ask for.
- To check your site before it goes live. A real person checks every site.
- To show you your own before and after, from your starting numbers and check-in answers — never on your website, never shared.
With your permission, Local Pro Kit may use anonymized, aggregated results (for example, “a 2-person plumbing business in Queens”) in its marketing. We never publish your name, logo, reviews or customer data without separate written consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
To write the descriptions on your pages, we may use an AI writing tool (Claude, made by Anthropic). Your facts — phone, prices, hours, licence — are used exactly as you typed them. A draft that adds a fact you didn’t give us is thrown away.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for ads.
Who else handles it
We share your information only with companies that help us run the service, and only what they need:
- Stripe takes payments and bills monthly plans. It gets your email, your order and your card details.
- Twilio sends and receives texts, and registers texting numbers with US carriers. It gets phone numbers, the text of messages and your registration details.
- Vercel hosts this store and the websites we build.
- Anthropic may draft the words on your pages from your answers.
Each of these companies handles information under its own privacy policy.
Your booking app, your Google Business Profile and your domain are your own accounts. We link to them, and their own terms apply.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
Text messages
Texts to your customers
If you add texting features, we send texts for your business only to people who agreed. The forms on your site ask with this wording:
Yes, text me about this request. [Your business] may send texts about my request to the number above. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Agreeing is optional. A customer can still ask for a quote without it.
Texts to you
If we text you about your order or your site, or reply to a change you texted us, you can reply STOP at any time to stop our texts, or HELP for help.
STOP and HELP
Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, REVOKE or PARAR to opt out. No more texts are sent to that number until it replies START or UNSTOP. Reply HELP, INFO or AYUDA for help.
We keep a record of who agreed and who opted out, so we never text someone who said stop.
We never share phone numbers or text consent with anyone else for their marketing.
What’s saved in your browser
So you can stop and come back, this store saves some things in your own browser, on your device:
- your order and your answers to our questions (in your browser’s local storage)
- your logo and photos, made smaller (in your browser’s IndexedDB storage) — they stay on your device until we build your preview, then they are uploaded so we can put them on your site
- a list of the orders placed in this browser
In this preview store nothing is uploaded: everything stays in your browser.
How to clear it
In your browser’s settings, look for “site data” (often under Privacy or Cookies), find this website, and delete its data. In a private window, it is cleared when you close the window.
Clearing it removes any answers and photos you haven’t sent us yet.
The free check
On the free check you type a business name, a city or ZIP code, and if you like a trade and a website.
- We look the business up on Google Maps (Google’s Places service) and ask an AI tool the questions a customer might ask. The business name is not part of those questions.
- The AI tool is usually Google Gemini (with Google Search), on Google’s free tier: we send it only your trade, your city or ZIP code and those questions — no personal details — and Google may use what it receives to improve its models. When the free tier is used up, we ask Anthropic’s Claude (with web search) instead.
- We keep the Google Maps and AI answers for up to 7 days, so checking the same business again is free. We don’t keep the website check.
- The full report (the evidence behind each card) is kept for 24 hours so it can be shown when you ask for it.
- If you ask for the full report, we keep your email address, the business you checked, the time and the words of the box you ticked. We use it to send you that report and to follow up once about it. We don’t add you to a mailing list and we don’t sell it. Ask us and we delete it.
- We don’t log what you typed. Addresses and business names used for the anti-abuse limits are scrambled (hashed) before they are counted.
Google sign-in (profile check)
On the Google profile check you can sign in with Google so we can read your Google Business Profile once and tell you what to fix. This is optional.
What we read
With the access you give on Google’s screen, we read your Business Profile: business name, categories, hours and holiday hours, description, services, phone number, website link, the details you’ve ticked, how many photos you’ve added and when, your reviews (to count them, see how recent they are and how many have a reply), and Google’s numbers for calls, website clicks and direction requests over the last 90 days. If your profile links a website, we look at that one public page to compare the phone number.
What we do with it
- We only read. We don’t change, post or reply to anything, even though Google’s screen describes the access as able to edit — that is the only kind of access Google offers for Business Profiles.
- Your Google sign-in is used once, for this check, and then handed back to Google (revoked). We don’t ask for long-term access and we don’t keep it.
- We don’t store your profile, reviews or results on our servers. The results go straight to your browser tab and are shown once; your newest three review texts appear only there, without reviewers’ names.
- We don’t log your business details, reviews or sign-in. We only count how many checks ran.
- While you sign in, one cookie keeps the sign-in safe from forgery. It holds no personal information and expires after 10 minutes.
Local Pro Kit’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (opens in a new tab), including the Limited Use requirements. We never use it for advertising, never sell it, and no one at Local Pro Kit reads it.
You can remove our access yourself at any time in your Google account’s connections (opens in a new tab).
How long we keep it
- We keep your order, answers, photos and site files while we build and run your site.
- Stripe keeps payment records under its own rules.
- We keep records of text consent and opt-outs for as long as we send texts for your business, so we can show who agreed and never text someone who said stop.
- What’s saved in your browser stays there until you clear it.
You can ask for a copy of all your data — your answers, photos, leads and message logs — at any time, including when you leave. We send it within 7 days of your request.
We haven’t set fixed time limits yet. They will be added here before payments go live.
If something goes wrong
If a breach affects your information, we tell you promptly, as New York law requires.
Your choices
- Get a copy: ask for a copy of all your data — your answers, photos, leads and message logs — at any time. We send it within 7 days.
- Fix it: ask us to correct anything that’s wrong, or change it in your preview before you approve.
- Delete it: ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep a few records — like payment records at Stripe, or the opt-out list, so a number that said stop is never texted again.
- Stop texts: reply STOP.
- Stop check-ins, or withdraw consent: tell us, and we stop sending check-in questions or stop using your anonymized numbers in our marketing.
- Clear your browser: see What’s saved in your browser.
To ask, contact us.

This store is for business owners. It is not meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
