How it works

Proof of work: see what we did, and check it yourself.

Sample — not a real customer

We keep a work log for every customer that lists each thing we do for them, as we do it — with the link, test or screenshot that shows it’s done. Below is what it looks like, for a made-up plumber.

What you get

  • A task for everything you bought. The list comes straight from your order — nothing added to look busy, nothing quietly left out.
  • Proof you can check without us.Links to the live listings, and the same public tests we use, so you can run them again yourself.
  • What we need from you, in plain words. Some steps only you can do — like the code Google mails to your address. We say exactly what, and why.
  • The same summary in your check-ins.Our short check-ins (at about 1, 3 and 6 months, and only if you want them) also list what we finished since the last one.

What counts as proof

Link
The live thing itself: your site, your Google, Bing, Apple, Yelp or Foursquare listing, the public record of who owns your domain.
Test
A test we ran, and what it found. Where the test is a public tool — Google’s Rich Results Test, the Schema.org validator, PageSpeed Insights, your robots.txt — you get the exact link, so you can run it again yourself.
Screenshot
What we saw when we finished, for things you can’t open from a link yet (a Google profile waiting for verification, for example).
Before / after
The same items from our free check, before we started and after. Check items only — like “Same phone number everywhere” — never calls, sales or rankings.
Note
A plain sentence for anything else: what we sent, when, and what happens next.

What never goes in it: numbers we made up, a ranking we promised, reviews anyone was paid or asked to write a certain way.

US carriers only deliver business texts from registered numbers. We fill in the forms with you; approval can take a few weeks.

Registration sent on Oct 6 with the details you gave us. The carriers are reviewing it — approval can take a few weeks. Texting starts after that.

  4. Missed-call text-back is on

    Not started

When nobody picks up, the caller gets one text from you within seconds. One per caller every 12 hours, none between 9pm and 8am, and STOP always works.

  5. Review requests after every job

    Not started

When you mark a job done, that customer gets one text asking for an honest review. Every customer, the same message, nothing in return.

Evidence appears here when this is done.
